Hey fellow hookers! Today I’m sharing a super cute and surprisingly easy crochet pattern for adorable little frogs. What’s even better? It’s a no-sew pattern, meaning less finishing work and more time for snuggling your new amphibian friend!

This pattern includes instructions for both a large and a small frog, so you can create a whole family of hoppers!
What you’ll need:

Abbreviations (for those new to crochet):
- MC: Magic Circle
- sc: Single Crochet
- inc: Increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
- dec: Decrease (sc 2 stitches together)
- bobble: Bobble Stitch (check out tutorials online, it’s easier than it sounds!)

The Patterns:
Large Frog:
- 6 sc in MC
- 2 inc x 6 = 12
- (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat = 30
- 2 sc, 1 inc (4 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end, 2 sc in the last 2 stitches
- 11 sc, 5 dc bobble, 8 sc, 5 dc bobble, 15 sc
- 36 sc
- 36 sc
- 36 sc
- 4 sc, 1 dec repeat until end
- 3 sc, 1 dec, 5 bobble, 4 sc, 1 dec, 4 bobble, 3 sc, 4 bobble, 1 dec, 4 sc, 5 bobble, 1 dec, 4 sc

Small Frog:
- 3 sc in MC
- 1 inc x 3 = 6
- 1 inc x 6 = 12
- 2 sc, 1 inc (4 sc, 1 inc) repeat
- 4 sc, bobble, 2 sc, bobble, sc till end

- 8 sc, 1 dec

Notes:
- The bobble stitches add texture and cuteness! Don’t be intimidated, there are lots of great tutorials online.
- Remember to stuff your frog firmly as you go.
- For the eyes, you can use safety eyes or embroider them on with yarn.
- Get creative with colors and embellishments! You can add spots, stripes, or even a little crown to your frog.
