If you love crocheting cute dinosaurs, you’re in for a treat! This Stegosaurus crochet pattern is beginner-friendly and works up quickly, making it perfect for dino lovers of all ages.

I’ve always believed in making crochet patterns accessible to everyone. When I first started crocheting, finding quality free patterns was tough, and I want to change that. That’s why I’m sharing this free Stegosaurus pattern with you—so you can create, enjoy, and share in the joy of crochet!
What You’ll Need:
- Yarn: Any worsted-weight yarn in two colors (main body + plates) https://amzn.to/4kLavop
- Hook: Size recommended for your yarn. I suggest that if you are new to crochet, you use a smaller hook. https://amzn.to/3XR35Ge
- Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill https://amzn.to/3XR35Ge
- Tapestry needle: For sewing parts together https://amzn.to/3DGF1PE
- Safety eyes or black yarn for embroidered eyes https://amzn.to/4kHDOrY
I will use Bernat Blanket Yarn in 2 colors with a size 6mm hook for my picture examples.
Now, let’s get started!
